Few quotes in Star Wars history have been as oft-repeated - or parodied - as the all-too-late warning of Admiral Ackbar.

With the main heroes all occupied elsewhere, it falls to the Lando Calrissian and the Mon Calamari to be leading the fight against the Death Star here, springing what they think is a surprise attack on the imperial forces only to learn they were expecting them all along.

It gave us more investment in the battle even sans main characters, and served as the platform to turn Ackbar into the cultest of cult heroes.
