Star Wars: 6 Ways Hayden Christensen Could Appear In Episode VIII

"Ani, we're home..."

Forget The Force Awakens - the Star Wars rumour mill has turned its focus to Episode VIII. Rian Johnson's sequel, the second in Disney's new trilogy, isn't set to be released until May 2017, but with casting news working its way out out and shooting already begun in some form, little plot tidbits and other assorted speculation has started to sneak out. The latest rumour is a biggie, potentially revealing not just a major returning cast member, but also telling us a lot about what Disney's plans for the franchise are going forward. According to MakingStarWars, Hayden Christensen, the actor who brought Anakin Skywalker to "life" in Episodes II and III, is set to appear in Episode VIII:
"A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort."
Well, that was unexpected to say the least. The information is vague, with next to no confirmation of the size or nature of the role, which, after the knee-jerk reaction to the report, just begs the question "How is that going to work?" So, in the wake of the most bizarre Star Wars news since Disney bought Lucasfilm, here's a look at just how Hayden Christensen could actually appear in Star Wars: Episode VIII.
