Star Wars: 6 Ways Hayden Christensen Could Appear In Episode VIII

1. He's Actually In Rogue One

A couple of months back David Gauke, a Tory MP, tweeted the following about being on "The Death Star - the set of the next Star Wars film." People lost their sh*t. Had this politician trying to sell policy accidentally given away a major spoiler for The Force Awakens, revealing there was a new Death Star in the film? News stories were hastily typed up and many a tear was shed. During all the commotion, nobody actually stopped to think that a non-fan wouldn't be too au fait with the release order of upcoming Star Wars and considered he was may actually be on the set of Rogue One, the movie currently shooting at the time and one we know will feature the Death Star. While the story with regards to Christensen comes from a more aware source and specifically names Episode VIII, there's still room for error or misreporting at some point, especially given how ridiculous this rumour is. Rogue One is still shooting now, and assuming he's only got a minor role Christensen may not need more than a few weeks of "training" to get him ready for his return. Quite how this would work is unclear, but it'd make a lot of sense. There's been plentiful rumours of Vader appearing in Gareth Edwards' spin-off and a flashback would certainly fit a lot better in a non-Episode film. Heck, maybe he's actually in the Darth Vader suit for that rumoured cameo - he already donned the leather for the end of Revenge Of The Sith and it'd be a nice, subtle way to link the Star Wars Story to the prequels. Here's hoping at least - the main movies don't need any more Hayden. Do you think Hayden Christensen is going to be in Episode VIII? And if so, what's how will he appear? Let us know your theory down in the comments.
