Ahsoka Tano is arguably the single-most popular character to originate from Star Wars animation. The apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka -- voiced by Ashley Eckstein -- first appeared in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, becoming a staple of its spinoff TV series throughout its entire run (including the 2020 revival).

Disillusioned with the Jedi Order after being framed by an old friend, Ahsoka ultimately decided to carve her own path. In Star Wars Rebels, she operated from the shadows as the rebel informant Fulcrum, finally showing her face again during the show's Season 1 finale in 2015.

Ahsoka took on a more active role in Rebels Season 2, which culminated in a confrontation between her and her former master, now Darth Vader. Following Season 2's finale, Ahsoka's fate was left up in the air until the end of Season 4 in 2018, when it was revealed that she survived the encounter with Darth Vader (with a little help from Ezra), and actually lived past the events of the Original Trilogy.

After years of fan demand, Ahsoka finally came to live-action this year during The Mandalorian Season 2. Played by Rosario Dawson, the former Jedi met Din Djarin and The Child on the planet Corvus. Ahsoka then joined forces with Din to liberate the city of Calodan, and even name-dropped another Rebels character, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Dawson is set to reprise her role as Ahsoka for the character's recently-announced spinoff series.
