2. Boba Fett
Another badass character that managed to be awesome with fairly little screen time, Fett's origins were briefly mentioned in Episode II, but only a small portion of his childhood as a clone on Kamino. There's therefore a huge gap in between his childhood in Episode II and his reappearance in Episode V, Mandelorian armour-clad and awesome. This is obviously the period where he became an awesome bounty hunter and it could make for an interesting origin film even if it only covered a small period within this time frame. Boba Fett would be a particularly interesting choice for an origin film in my opinion as not only is he one of my favourite characters, but it emerged a few months back that the recently cancelled Star Wars 1313 video game (which looked incredible by the way) would have been this origin story I'm now advocating. The game would've focused on Fett's early bounty hunting days and as the player progressed, your skills, equipment and armour would've evolved and improved into the badass that was introduced in Episode V. Since it's now sadly looking unlikely that this project will get resurrected, that leaves a huge time period in Fett's early bounty hunting days left unexplored that an origin film could definitely utilise. Boba Fett therefore definitely deserves an origin film to show how the character became the awesome bounty hunter we met in Episode V.
