Star Wars: 8 Characters That Could Possibly Make Origin Films Work

1. Han Solo

Han Solo Probably one of the most beloved characters in the saga, I'd be quite interested to see Han's beginnings as I feel there could be a very interesting origin story there. In particular, how did Solo get into smuggling and crime? How did he get involved with the Hutts? How did his team up with Chewie come about? The problem would be finding a young actor who could take on the responsibilities of the role. Harrison Ford left a hell of a legacy and his performance of the loveable rogue pilot is what made the character so great in the first place. This would have to be respected and adhered to if the origin is to be done well because if it wasn't, the story would never work out and character could be ruined if it was distorted too much by another actor's interpretation. For this reason if Disney did decide to take on a Han Solo origin film, they should tread carefully and make sure Ford's legacy is observed and respected, not try and change the character too much or make Han into some serious action hero for example, because that's just not him. It might therefore be best that they stick with other characters for their origin stories but if they did it right, come on, who doesn't want to see him make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs? So those are the 8 that I think could make the origin films work, but with a universe of this size, this is just the tip of the iceberg. So whose origins would you like to see? Or do you think these origin films are a terrible idea and they should leave the characters alone? Let me know in the comments!
