Star Wars: 8 Characters Who Will Die By The End Of Episode IX

1. Poe Dameron

The best frickin' pilot in the galaxy. Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron certainly proved that during The Force Awakens, whether it's a TIE Fighter or an X-Wing. He was cool, charming, and charismatic; the epitome of a dashing hero. He wasn't in the movie enough in honesty, but what we did see of him was awesome, be it his bromance with Finn, leading Black Squadron, or his relationship with BB-8.

However, while his role in the film wasn't as big as the other new heroes, it could've been a lot different. The original plan, and the one Isaac first agreed to, would've seen Poe die during The Force Awakens. Thankfully Abrams saw the error of his ways, managed to rewrite it so that Poe lives and can be a part of the entire trilogy, and Isaac was onboard.

Given he was initially planned to die, though, it means there's still a very good chance he'll perish in Episode IX. Certainly out of the three heroic leads he seems the most likely to die, as it's harder to imagine Rey or Finn being killed off, and him going out in a blaze of glory while saving the day seems like a fitting end for the character.
