Its a pretty obvious one, but the sharpness and clarity of the buffed up new Blu-ray editions or a total revelation. The magic of staring at a scene which appears to have been shot in a galaxy which has been liberally coated in vaseline is completely lost on me. Yeah, yeah, you might be of the generation which watched A New Hope when it was still just called Star Wars and therefore have some bizarre attachment to the idea of watching a film through a set of cataracts, but some of us really appreciate being able to see every single strand of artfully dishevelled hair on Mark Hamills head.
