6. Intergalactic Terrorism

If Abrams' Trek films are anything to go by, we can expect far more big-scale destruction in Episode 7, given that Star Trek was centered around several key events of mass destruction - the USS Kelvin being destroyed by Nero, and then Nero murdering almost all 6 billion inhabitants of Vulcan with the use of a black hole - and Star Trek Into Darkness also featured numerous catastrophic attacks at the behest of Khan. If Abrams wants to make an impact, it usually involves something being blown to pieces, crafting a "wow" moment that makes it clear the bad guy means business. If the Star Wars films to date have boasted relatively "clean" action - hand-to-hand combat and vast space battles - expect some more raw, rough, gritty action to abound in Episode 7, no doubt earning that PG-13 rating but also potentially taking the franchise in a newly dangerous, unpredictable direction.
