5. Music By John Williams

When Steven Spielberg was asked about the success of
Jaws, he said that he believed the movie was 50% successful due to the film itself, and 50% successful because of John Williams' iconic score. The same might be said, then, of John Williams' work on the
Star Wars movies. The level of sheer craftsmanship is beyond definable terms, but Williams' scores for all six movies are - simply put - genuine masterpieces. And I mean
all of them. Granted Williams is 81-years-old now, so the chances that he'll return for another installment are looking pretty thin. But
Star Wars isn't
Star Wars without the man who composed its music, and having Williams back in the conductor's chair feels like an essential component. And if he can't? Well, there's always Michael Giacchino.
