Star Wars Episode 7: 5 Canon-Friendly Casting Choices

3. Gary Oldman As One Sith Lord

gary oldman re I only found out recently that around the making of Revenge of the Sith, Gary Oldman was originally approached to play General Grievous. Apparently he was pretty keen too, but due to a falling out between George Lucas and the guilds back during the making of The Empire Strikes Back, he was not allowed to accept. But now that Disney are producing, I wonder if that may not be a problem anymore. Though Grievous is be gone, a new red-sabered baddie for Mr Oldman would hardly be an issue, as it seems he can do anything when it comes to acting! There are many Dark Jedi left over from Order 66, such as A'sharad Hett or Darth Wyrlokk, who go on to form the new Sith Organisation in the Legacy comics, but who knows?
