Star Wars Episode 7: 8 Actors Who Should Be Cast

7. Jamie Glover

Jamie GloverWhy Jamie Glover? He's not the best known of actors but UK readers might recognise Jamie Glover from his role as deputy headmaster Andrew Treneman in BBC drama Waterloo Road as well as smaller roles in other things and occasional voice work. Which is where he made his mark on the Star Wars universe by inheriting the role of General Veers (first seen in The Empire Strikes Back) from his father Julian Glover and more recently by voicing Darth Malgus in The Old Republic. And it's his role as Malgus that's a big factor in me thinking he'd be a good actor cast in Episode 7. Glover gave a very impressive performance as Malgus (especially in the "Deceived" trailer) and it would be interesting to see him take on a similar role in the flesh as well as vocally. Waterloo Road (which is arguably Glover's biggest role) isn't the best calling card for a part in Star Wars but he's been working steadily since 1987 and definitely has the acting chops to appear in Episode 7. Especially since he was good enough to play the villain in something as high profile (as far as MMORPGs go) as The Old Republic. Who Could He Play? An Imperial Officer or a Sith Lord similar to Darth Malgus.
