Remember that bit in Return Of The Jedi where Leia strangles Jabba to death with a chain? Well, that act of murder will apparently come back to bite the Resistance on the rear end, if an Episode IX rumour is to be believed.

For a while, it's been speculated that the movie will find small teams of Resistance members - like Finn and Poe - sent out to recruit potential allies, gaining the support they'll need to overthrow The First Order once and for all. A short while ago, The Express expanded on this idea, stating that Leia will have a group of her own, who will attempt to contact old friends and acquaintances across the galaxy.

The outlet reported that remnants of the Hutt family will be one such acquaintance, but that - due to Leia killing Jabba - they initially refuse to help the Resistance, branding Leia "The Huttslayer". Leia has been called this before, in Claudia Gray's 2016 novel, Bloodline - but this would be the first time the name is used on film.

Now, the Hutts being part of Episode IX is not a new rumour, but Leia's apt nickname is. And assuming this all rings true, it'll be interesting to see how her past actions can have a negative impact on her current plight.
