2. Which Characters Will Make Cameo Appearances?
Generally speaking, nobody likes cameo experiences, and including most of the characters from the old trilogy here would be about as dumb as explaining what makes the Force work the way it does. That said, I'm sure that George Lucas (like most of us) will have been tempted to include a few characters in this movie (and if not in this one, the sequel). Characters we don't ever want to see, though? Boba Fett, absolutely, should never be a part of this movie. The galaxy is too big and having him involved just wouldn't make sense. We suppose Jabba could be seen somewhere along the road, given that Anakin Skywalker was born on Tatooine, and that's where the fat slug is from, too. To include Chewbecca, who is likely old enough to appear as an "adult" would also be overkill of sorts, but Lucas is bound to know all this, so why am I even wasting my breath, right?
