Star Wars Episode VII: 5 British Locations Perfect For The Movie

3. The Millennium Bridge, Newcastle, England

Taking a turn from the natural phenomena route I was on with this article this choice represents the technologically advanced state of the Galaxy far-far away. It's unlikely that the whole trilogy will be spent on primitive planets and I can easily see an excellent set-piece lightsaber duel taking place on this futuristic construction. This bridge, while unique is not quite so iconic as other, more famous British Landmarks meaning that the people of the world in general it wouldn't be taken out of the film too much to see it appear. Like its Millennium-Brother in London Newcastle's own Millennium Bridge looks beautiful. The curving contours and lights cast an impressive figure of a construction. A construction which could well be utilized in a city - taking a leaf out of Star Trek's futuristic London book - part built from CGI and part solid, existing things. In such a city, the Millennium Bridge would be right at home.
