Star Wars: Every Major Jedi Ranked Worst To Best
8. Anakin Skywalker
Anakin is in a very similar boat to Ben Solo. Although he's one of the most integral characters in the entire franchise - and in a way the absolute centre of the whole Skywalker saga - he spent most of his time straying away from the side of the Jedi. Still, unlike Ben, we at least got to see him don the blue saber a little more.
The conflictions and turmoil of this young yet powerful Jedi were profound, as while the prequels had their issues, the focus on Anakin's turn to the dark side was writhe with pain. Seeing how he was ill-fit for the Jedi order because of his hot-headed passion was a great way to show what you need to sacrifice to be a Jedi Knight.
Again, he can't rank very high, as the weight of his crimes is too hard to ignore. Moreover, he essentially helped pull the trigger on the annihilation of the Jedi, so cannot be considered a good one. Still, his early days in training with Obi-Wan, role alongside the council and eventual redemption are worthy of moving him up a few spaces.
