4. The Book Of Boba Fett

It's safe to say that the redemption of Boba Fett is in full swing.

The character has long been beloved by fans of the Star Wars Expanded Universe, which made the bounty hunter out to be a legitimate world-beater. In canon, however, Boba actually did very little, and was originally killed off rather unceremoniously.

The animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars took major steps to rectify this, but -- not to be outdone -- Season 2 of The Mandalorian took things one step further, revealing that Boba Fett actually survived the events of the Original Trilogy in order to show what he could really do.

Boba Fett's action sequences were high points of what was already an excellent second season, which is why the surprise announcement of The Book of Boba Fett, a spinoff starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen, was a very exciting development indeed.

Even better, the series will be helmed by The Mandalorian's Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni alongside Robert Rodriguez, the director behind Boba's best showing in Mando Season 2, "Chapter 14: The Tragedy."

With The Book of Boba Fett set to arrive alongside The Mandalorian Season 3, Star Wars fans can certainly expect a December to remember later this year.
