Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Things Everybody Missed In The Trailer

1. Post-Title Lightsaber Ignition

It's so easy to miss after the incredible eighty-odd seconds that have preceded it, but after the title and date cards there's one final part of the trailer - over a black screen you can hea the sound of a lightsaber igniting. It could be there to symbolise the return of Star Wars or the fact the Force is awakening, but really it's likely just a fun little easter egg snuck in the end for those watching it the thirty-seventh time. Still, it's pretty cool. This was highlighted on Good Morning America, but with the oddly egregious information that it was Luke's lightsaber. As this was on ABC, a Disney-owned channel, many have taken this fact as gospel, but given that all lightsabers sound the same it's rather unquantified speculation. It could tie into the rumours the saber, as well as the hand, Luke lost on Bespin will play a part in the plot, but that's something to take with a pinch of salt.
