5. Limited Lens Flare

What you're seeing above is the one case of lens flare in this entire trailer. Which probably leaves many people breathing a big sigh of relief. Since J.J Abrams' appointment as director of Star Wars 7, the recurring joke/worry is that he'll put way too much of his trademark lens flare in the movie. It dominated the screen in both his Star Treks and Super 8, but from what we've seen of The Force Awakens it's not an issue here - there was ample opportunity for glare in the shots revealed today, but the director didn't take the bait.
