Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - 10 Big Reveals About Disney's Upcoming Land

The most ambitious and daring part of the entire park is Disney's promise that within the world of Batuu, each guests legacy will follow them.

For instance, if a guest were to do especially well on Smuggler's Run and take out a handful of First Order TIE Fighters in the process, they would be marked by the First Order. This could lead to everything from Stormtroopers giving you grief as they pass by to the First Order possibly even putting a bounty on your head if you become too much of a problem.

While Disney has remained fairly tight-lipped about how exactly they plan on doing this, the bread crumbs are certainly there. For years now, Disney has been pushing guests to use Magic Bands as their passes for the park, which also double as location trackers that can interface with the environment. This is how ride queues such as Expedition Everest's can feature personalized faux-advertisements for Himalayan businesses featuring a guest's name just as they arrive at that portion of the queue.

It isn't too difficult to draw a line from these uses to what Disney is planning for Galaxy's Edge, but it will certainly be the most complex and revolutionary use of this system yet.
