Star Wars: Han Solo Spin-Off - 8 Things That Will Definitely Happen

1. The Kessel Run

The Millennium Falcon is, as Han puts it, €œthe ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.€

Leaving aside the rather debatable logic of that sentence (it€™s been well-established since that parsecs is a unit of distance, not time), there€™s the question of whether it really did happen, or if it was just a boast to impress Obi-Wan and Luke.

We€™ll presumably be getting an answer in this film, as this is such a big part of the Han Solo and Millennium Falcon mythos it really has to show it. The Kessel Run was used by smugglers to transport spice from the planet, so it€™s certain that Han would have used it, although whether he genuinely did manage to shave a third off the distance is less certain.

It would be a great chance to clear up something that will have been left somewhat mysterious for over 40 years by the time the movie comes out, and best of all give us some fantastic Falcon sequences, really showing off Solo€™s skills as a pilot.
