7. Bodhi Rook Is A Former Imperial

Although he's been a major draw for the film for his work on the likes of Nightcrawler and Four Lions (something he even acknowledged pale in comparison to Star Wars), little has been known about Riz Ahmed's character Bodhi Rook, the gang's pilot.

Jumping off from the Empire logo on his outfit from one of the stills revealed in the EW feature last month, Christie asked for a bit more of his backstory. Turns out Rook is a former Imperial who joined the government through a need to work after they occupied his planet, not totally happy with his overlords, but happy for the credits. It was only over time he began to question his career path and switched sides.
