When the teaser trailer dropped, many people pointed out how a certain Imperial base looked like a platgorm on the Jubilee line. Well, it was; the crew went and shot a sequence in Canary Wharf, fulfilling a life-long filmmaking dream of Edwards to use London's futuristic-looking train network (if not futuristic in actual operation) in a sci-fi film.

It wasn't easy though. They had one night to do everything - set dressing, shoot, clean-up. Scratch that, they had four hours to do it; they went in as the line closed at midnight, just as workers in the City were leaving, and left a 4am, just as bankers were arriving. And, because of the secrecy of the project, they had to do it without leaving any trace, leading to some very strange encounters leaving the station in the morning.
