3. Krennic Is Australin
Ben Mendelsohn had the entrance of the day, coming into the Celebration Stage in full costume as Director Krennic flanked by two Shadowtroopers. Even though we're all hyped for Vader, this made clear who the movie's real big bad was.
We didn't learn much more about the man tasked with keeping the Death Star plans safe, although Mendelsohn did inadvertently drop a biggie; when jokingly describing his character as swish and attractive, he mentioned he's Australian.
That shouldn't be too surprising - it his his natural accent and Rogue One is a decidedly more international Star Wars adventure - and yet because he's an Imperial, it seems strange he's not putting on an English accent, perhaps highlighting how he's a little different to the pack we saw in the original trilogy.
