Star Wars: Rogue One - 10 Most Hotly Anticipated Moments

5. That Epic War On The Beach

From an aesthetic point of view, there are moments in the Rogue One trailer that vastly differ from anything we've seen depicted in Star Wars before. The most striking of these moments (and something that has been used to heavily promote the film through posters) is the conflict that takes place on a tropical beach.

Yes, tropics in Star Wars. Up until now, the series has largely been dominated by harsher conditions, like the arctic tundra of Hoth and the grim swamps of Dagobah. Sure, there have been glimpses of nicer locations, but none like the gorgeous beach planet we've been seeing.

Apparently the planet is known as Scarif, and was used to build ships and supplies for the Death Star. Whatever its name or purpose, it looks from the trailers to be the sight of all-out war. Seeing that conflict play out, then, rather than in vast reaches of space is going to be amazing.
