Star Wars: Rogue One - 12 Big Questions We're Asking After The First Trailer

8. Where Is All This Taking Place?

The one definite location we see in the teaser in Yavin 4, the location of the Rebel base, which has been wonderfully recreated here - looking and feeling exactly as it should at this stage; recognisable, but a little more fleshed out and populated.

As for the other locations though, it's a little less clear. One of the standout shots of the teaser is the one of the AT-ATs back in action (and man, don't they look great here?) on some sort of tropical desert planet. Yavin was much more of a jungle than this, and also was still a secret in Star Wars, so it'd make no sense for that to be what we're seeing here, but it begs the question of where this action is taking place.

The other intriguing location is when we have the sight of the Rebels seemingly being chased by Stormtroopers. The assumption here is that it's the Death Star, but there's always the chance it could be another Imperial base. Would they really hide the plans to the Death Star *on* the Death Star?

Oh wait, this is the Empire. Of course they would.
