The Force Awakens lovingly recreated the feel of the Star Wars universe, with updated designs and riffs on classic iconography. Rogue One goes even further, as it's delivered a painstaking recreation of the settings we first saw almost 40 years ago.

We're returning to Yavin 4, and the Great Temple of Massassi, and the aesthetic is absolutely spot-on. It looks incredibly similar to the one we saw in A New Hope, albeit slightly more populated, a sign of the burgeoning Rebel forces at this point, before they presumably suffer some losses in this film.

Inside the Rebel base it's just as similar, as witnessed by the strategy centre we see Mon Mothma standing at. Look at the screen and the markings on the control panel in front of her, and then compare it to a shot of the same location from A New Hope, and you can see how much attention has been paid to detail.
