19. Cassian Kills Tivik
In Cassian Andor's (Diego Luna) opening mission, he is aided by Tivik (Daniel Mays), an undercover member of the resistance who provides him with vital information for his ongoing war against the Empire.
In a shocking moment, however, Cassian shoots Tivik dead before departing, presumably in order to tie off any loose ends during his escape.
It's a great scene because it immediately lets you know that Cassian isn't some squeaky-clean hero, and he's able to make some tough calls if it benefits the bigger picture of bringing the Empire down.
Luna, one of the movie's easy highlights, plays the scene perfectly, and moments like this make him a much more interesting hero than the more straight-laced Jyn.
