3. Jyn Turns To The Dark Side

It's well established that Jyn Erso is a rebellious character (as if the presentation of her character in the trailer wasn't enough, she actually says the line "I rebel."), but could she actually rebel against the Rebels?

The idea of Jyn turning to the Dark Side has its basis in a couple of different things from the trailer: the way her character is presented as a rebel, and most of all the end shot of her in Imperial clothing, at what looks like an Imperial location, accompanied by Forest Whitaker's voice: "What will you do when they break you? What will you become?"

The idea of the lead characters being tempted by the Dark Side is nothing new, of course; it's happened with Anakin, Luke, and most recently Rey, so it'd continue that pattern for Jyn to be tempted by the Empire, even if there's no actual Force at play here. However, there's not a lot to go on, and it's probably just some clever trailer editing to make us all question Jyn.
