Star Wars: Rogue One - Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

Save for Darth Vader, there are no Jedi or Sith in Rogue One. However, that doesn't mean that the Force isn't still an important presence in the movie.

It's thanks to Donnie Yen's Chirrut Îmwe that it retains a special place in the film, with his blind warrior monk character being a true Force believer. While not a Jedi, he does seem to have some sense of the Force, or at least believes he does, which may be enough to work for him.

He serves as part of a great double-act with Baze, but manages to break out on his own a lot more. Yen is astute casting, as he's able to show off all his martial arts skills, while crafting a character who is loyal, fearless, and wise.

He's the spiritual guide of this movie, providing real heart and a tangible connection to the Force, and he kicks a lot of Stormtrooper ass to go with it.
