Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer - 10 Things We Want To See

There are some reports - I'll not go into too much spoilery detail here - that suggest Mads Mikkelsen is going to have a very central role in Rogue One, which certainly fits with the stature of the actor. 

Aside from the aforementioned rumours, we don't know what Mikkelsen will be doing in the film, although he has said he won't be the villain. It was a fair expectation, given his roles in the likes of Hannibal and Casino Royale, but he's insisted he's not a "bad guy". 

Mikkelsen has a great ability to bring nuance and charm to characters, whatever side they might fall on, and while it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if they want to keep his character's secrets under wraps (hopefully that's the case anyway), then it'd be good to at least see in what position Galen (as he is supposedly called in the movie, a name familiar to fans of the EU, although we can't assume any connection) starts the film, and whether he's with the Empire or the Rebels.
