1. Vader Won't Be In Much (But He Will Be Telling)
His presence might loom over the trailer thanks to his ominous music, but Darth Vader's actual presence is probably as limited here as it will be in the finished film.
The most compelling rumour has it that Vader will stalk around the film like a horror movie villain, calmly killing off his prey and slowly but surely building up his mythology.
Personally, I think it's more likely that Vader will be involved only in a short, sharp burst. He is - after all - the antithesis of Krennic (right down to the costumes), and once he fails (and lets the plans out of his grasp), Vader will come in and clean up.
And that single shot of his helmet from the rear is exactly the kind of horror-movie-like iconography that would fit that sort of approach.
