11. Jyn And Andor Are Captured
This market scene has already played a major part in the marketing - both in the first trailer and the sizzle reel - and it looks like it's an Imperial sweep for Rebels that coincides with the first attempt by Jyn's "team" to retrieve key artefacts or personnel from Jedha.
What wasn't entirely clear in the earlier footage was that Jyn and Andor end up getting captured by the Empire, as they're seen in shackles, and are then rescued by someone off screen. It is edited to look like it's Donnie Yen's Chirrut Îmwe, but that's misdirection.
Who could Jyn and Andor's saviours be? Bodhi perhaps? The red bolt suggests a Rebel (or at least someone who doesn't have access to the higher quality gas that makes bolts green, anyway). And the fact that we see K-2SO straight after this sequence suggests he's part of the rescue too.
It looks as though the first mission generally is a bust - or at least it coincides with a major failed mission by the Rebellion - with more than the central pair locked up in shackles...
