16. Assault On Scarif

Now the trailer moves later in the film, taking us to Scarif, a desert island planet that is likely the setting for the Rebellion's first big victory. Here we see Rebel soldiers jumping out of a U-Wing transport. Part of this sequence was seen in the sizzle reel, with an alien gleefully taking down Imperials.

It's gonna be a brutal, intense battle, with Rebels storming through the water and getting gunned down. This ain't you parent's Star Wars (even though tonally it totally is).

Also note the length and scope of the shot; it feels like we should be in for more perspective flipping long takes similar to The Force Awakens' X-Wing one.
