As great as it would be to see Felicity Jones play any one of the characters listed here, there's a very real possibility that Gareth Edwards' Star Wars spin-off will feature a cast who are playing entirely original creations. The first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens didn't feature any familiar faces (although it did have some familiar ships for sure), and actually got people talking more than if it had focused solely on the actors returning from the original trilogy. Star Wars is a brand which arguably doesn't need well-known characters to sell tickets, and Edwards exploring something entirely new with his spin-off could prove to be even more interesting than the rumours that all of these movies will focus on previously established heroes and villains like Han Solo and Boba Fett. On the other hand, there's undeniably more of a demand for them, so chances are that Jones will be revealed as someone fans know.
