8. Ahsoka Tano

The last time fans of The Clone Wars saw Ahsoka Tano, she was only 16 years old. The beloved character survived the animated series, but her ultimate fate remains unknown. Many have hoped for an appearance in Star Wars Rebels, but would it not make more sense to give the fan-favourite character her own live-action movie? If the rumours are correct and it takes place between the prequels and original trilogy, Jones is the perfect age too. Only Ahsoka's early years were explored in The Clone Wars, so it wouldn't be fair to say that the character has already received more than her fair share of screen time. There's a lot of story left to tell, and her history with Anakin Skywalker in particular could lead to some great interactions with younger versions of the cast members from the original trilogy. Revealing the role Ahsoka played in the rise of the Rebellion would be interesting for those who followed her in The Clones Wars and moviegoers who have never even heard of her.
