Star Wars: The 11 Actors Who Played Darth Vader

Unfortunately for Spender Wilding, the reshoots that changed Rogue One so much from Gareth Edwards' original vision meant that the director had to bring in another actor to pull on the iconic costume.

As Edwards told Yahoo Movies, scheduling issues meant Wilding couldn't return as some of the reshoots were pretty last minute:

“We have Spencer who played [Vader] in certain moments. And then Dan did some other moments that I can’t get into. But it was just the process of making the film. We shot at different times throughout the year and certain people were available more than others.”

Naprous, who is famed for his horse riding and swordsmanship, took on the role for the fight scene at the end of the movie that was added on to give Vader his Big Villain moment.
