10. Where Does BB-8 Come From?
We get quite a bit more of BB-8 in this trailer, and hear a lot more of the astromech too. Aside from the high-pitched beeps and whistles we get out of her (oh yeah, reportedly BB-8 is a girl), there's the question that Rey asks of the droid: "Where do you come from?" It's a pretty valid question. Has she been made by someone on Jakku? It's supposed to be a ship graveyard of a planet, yet BB-8 is still looking pretty shiny and new. Is it possible the droid was made elsewhere, and sent to Jakku for a specific reason? Or just another resident of the desert planet?
