8. Are These TIE Fighters Coming For Finn?
This question was almost 'what are Rey and Finn staring at?', because it immediately follows the shot of them (and BB-8) standing on Jakku looking off into the distance. However, while the two do seem linked, this shot is just so stunning it needs to be included, even if the screencap doesn't do it justice. Are these TIE Fighters on their way to Jakku because of the escaped Stormtrooper? Does that mean this is the very start of the 'escape from Jakku' sequence? Or could it be edited so as to be slightly misleading, and actually our heroes are starting at something else - an approaching Millennium Falcon perhaps? In terms of the First Order coming to Jakku - which we know will happen - would they really send all those ships after one rogue 'trooper? Sure, you could understand they wouldn't exactly want him to get away, but it still seems a lot of effort. Or could there be another reason (another someone or something) for heading to Jakku?
