3. Kylo Ren Kills Han Solo

Once again, Reddit is the source of another of the big rumours, suggesting that it's Kylo Ren who kills Han Solo (the most inevitable dead meat character since... erm... Han Solo in the original trilogy). The theorised ending says that the climactic mission (either to rescue Rey or destroy the Starkiller base) ends with Kylo Ren in pursuit of Han, Chewie, Rey and Finn, and that Han sacrifices himself to allow the younger characters. In the end it fails, Finn is forced to fight Ren and ends up with his hand chopped off. Rating: 3/10 Well, it sounds plausible, but it's no more than a fan theory. The reason it warrants mention is the prediction about Finn's hand. George Lucas was always very big on the idea of Star Wars rhyming, and it's a painful inevitability that someone is going to lose an arm sooner or later. The choice of Finn corroborates a rumoured plot outline that hit the net back in July. Even if both rumours turn out to be false, it wouldn't be at all surprising if Finn's encounter with Kylo ends with him losing a hand. It would fit his inexperience and the fear on his face.
