After the middling to downright awful quality that folk tend to associate with the mostly ill-judged prequel movies, it's no wonder that Star Wars fans are on the defensive. But there is hope. There is always hope. And this time, the talented people tasked with rendering Episode VII are dedicated to getting it right. As huge fans themselves, they, too, want to bring the beloved Star Wars saga back to its roots. When you think about it, though, it seems downright insane to think that last Friday fans were allowed to glimpse footage from a new, fully-fledged Star Wars movie: one that will find itself in theatres around this time next year. Who would have thought such a thing were even possible, or that it would ever even happen? And who knew that a mere 88 seconds of footage could put so many of the fears regarding the fate of Star Wars: The Force Awakens to rest? And yet that's what it did. Chances are that you've watched the new trailer at least a gazillion times already. Aside from the clever way in which it teases the upcoming flick at precisely the right level, it's also something of a triumph in the reassurance department; in short, it pretty much confirms the movie is in safe hands, and that J.J.
