Star Wars: The Force Awakens – 10 Major Plot Clues From The New Trailers

4. Rey Pilots The Millennium Falcon Twice

The biggest revelation of the trailers that nobody seems to have heaped much importance on is the fact that Rey and Finn flee the X-Wing attack by running to the Millennium Falcon. So, Rey has the Falcon, presumably because Han and Chewie have somehow lost it? If Rey is genuinely Han Solo's daughter, how ridiculously on the nose is it going to be to have Han discover that his lost ship is actually in the possession of his daughter he sent off into exile for her own protection. Surely that can't be the case? Right? And if Han knows his own daughter has the ship, why do he and Chewie make their entrance onto the bridge with their weapons drawn?! Plus, if his agenda was sending her into exile for her own safety, why would he send her off in the most notorious ship in the galaxy? Anyway, so we know Rey has the ship in her possession at the start of the film (or it comes into her possession pretty early on), and she's presumably scavenging the downed Imperial Destroyers for parts to fix it. There's also confirmation in the new trailer that as well as piloting the ship on Jakku to escape Captain Phasma (or so the trailers so far have suggested), she also pilots it again on the snow planet to escape some perilous situation...
