3. Rey Gets Captured

Putting all of the trailers together, it looks like the timeline has Rey and Finn escape Jakku together after the invasion of Kylo Ren's forces, and head to find Maz Kanata for help (finding Luke Skywalker after Finn leaks Ren's sinister plot). At some point they bump into Han and then Chewie (who are delighted to discover the lost Millennium Falcon) and go to visit the unseen pirate queen. Whether the pair are found by Kylo Ren and his stormtroopers on that same planet before or after their encounter with Kanata probably depends on how you read the trailer. If it's before the meeting, it would be the perfect opportunity for Han Solo to make his grand appearance and save Rey from Ren (though precisely how he'd do that remains to be seen). If after - the more compelling theory - it would suggest that Ren's forces attack Kanata's base (possibly after learning of its importance from the interrogation of Poe Dameron) and Ren captures Rey, discovering her link to the Force and hoping to draw out Luke Skywalker. That would certainly fit with the shot of Chewie and Chewy surrendering themselves from the "final" trailer. If she is taken to the Starkiller Base on the snow planet (seemingly called either Ryoome or Takodana according to leaks) that would explain the shot of Princess Leia devastated, and the scramble to send Poe Dameron's squad out to attack the base. The most reasonable assumption along those lines is the Rebels send the X-Wings in as a diversion and send Finn (and possibly Han and Chewie) in the back door (he has insider knowledge, remember) to rescue Rey, where he encounters Kylo Ren (and hopefully Luke). He (or someone else) is clearly successful, since there's a shot of Rey piloting the Falcon away from the snow planet. But at what cost?
