Considering how much people have pulled, poked and prodded at the legendary Star Wars mythos so far, you always knew fans were going into Episode VII eagle-eyed. Every scene, every moment and every frame was etching itself into the history books as time went by, and it's a sentiment shared by J.J. Abrams too, who's packed The Force Awakens full of callbacks, references and tantalising clues for the future of the saga. It's worth pointing out that J.J. didn't plan out the entire trilogy as he embarked on Episode VII, either. Instead, by growing up and taking part in a thousand conversations involving the minutiae of everything from Han shooting first to what colour Kyber crystals are 'allowed' to be, he's made his mark on the mythos by kickstarting as many talking points as possible. 2017 is reportedly when we're getting the next main instalment in the trilogy, and as the entire point of this entry was to reinvigorate the franchise and spawn all sorts of fun interpretations of the canon overall, let's just say fans have been hard at work connecting the dots - or making up some of their own.
