Come on, who else were you expecting to see here? No one could have foreseen what a fan-favourite addition to the Star Wars Universe this Stormtrooper would become, but the baton wielding baddie who labelled Finn a traitor has now been the subject of countless memes and parody videos, earning the name "TR-8R" along the way (get it?). As luck would have it, he'll even have his own Hot Toys action figure! The response to TR-8R has been so huge that Lucasfilm put out a story on StarWars.com which explained that his real name is FN-2199, and confirmed fan theories that he's one of Finn's former allies from Greg Rucka's Before the Awakening novel. Nicknamed "Nines" by his pals in The First Order, the redheaded Stormtrooper trained and served alongside Finn, and knowing that adds a lot more context to this scene. Unfortunately, it did appear as if Nines was killed off in The Force Awakens, but it honestly wouldn't be that hard to bring him back. After all, now that we know Finn isn't the Jedi of this new trilogy, it's impossible to say what his story arc is going to be in Episode VIII and beyond, so having him deal with his past ties to The First Order and the desire from his fellow Stormtroopers to kill the "traitor" could work well.
