2. Jessica "Testor" Pava

Played by Game Of Thrones actress Jessica Henwick, X-Wing pilot Jess "Testor" Pava has begun gaining something of a cult following since the release of this movie. The fact she's a female pilot is a big part of the reason why many fans have gravitated towards her, though seeing as she's also highly skilled and a close ally to both Poe Dameron and Snap Wexley, Pava actually has a lot of strong points! Jess apparently grew up idolising pilots like Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles, and if Luke does end up making his presence felt in the Resistance Base, would it be too much to ask to see her gush over him? The character also has some interesting ties to C-3PO with one of the tie-in novels revealing that she would perform maintenance work on him in exchange for stories about his former master. Could Jess be the one responsible for his new red arm? That's something which is set to be revealed in an upcoming Marvel comic book, but regardless of whether or not that ends up being the case, it would be surprising not to see more of this hero in Episode VIII. The Resistance's X-Wing squad is smaller than ever after all, so fleshing out some of the characters who work with Poe would be no bad thing.
