When Chancellor Palpatine was in the final stages of his seduction of Anakin during the events of Revenge Of The Sith, he divulged a single nugget of information that both captured Anakin's full attention and sent Star Wars fans into a frenzy of speculation; Darth Plagueis The Wise was able to manipulate the Force in order to prevent death. ]Could this possibly be true? While Palpatine used this information to secure Anakin's services as his apprentice, it was never fully revealed whether this claim was true. He later stated that only together could they discover this power. With all of the implied Sith involvement apparent in Episode VII, it would be fascinating to know if in fact the Sith had managed to control the power necessary to avoid death, especially with the glimpse of Darth Vader's helmet and the potential connotations there within, it is certainly something worth exploring.
