8. Luke Skywalker Could Be The Sith Lord
When the image above first leaked on the internet, Star Wars fans went nuts over the appearance of ol' Darth's severely damaged helmet in the clutches of an unknown individual. Aside from seemingly confirming that pieces of Darth Vader would be appearing in some capacity in the new film, it also evoked comparisons to Shakespeare's play, Hamlet. Now that the hype surrounding the appearance of Vader's helmet has started to simmer a little, fans have started to direct attention towards the mysterious robed figure holding the helmet. It's almost impossible to make out any discernible facial features of the character, but the most interesting part of his body isn't the face, it's the hand. If you take a look at the (presumably) man's hand, you'll quickly notice that its robotic - not organic. Everyone knows that Luke had his right hand replaced with a robotic one at the end of Empire, so the presence of the metallic appendage has led many to believe that the hooded figure is in fact the last Jedi himself. Considering how evil the guy looks, could it be that Luke has become a Sith Lord in the new film?
