Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Theories On How It Ends
10. Rey, Poe, And Finn Receive Rebel Commendations Like Luke And Han At The End Of Episode IV
Seeing how everyone involved is approaching the film with incredible respect to the original trilogy, it would seem fitting that Episode VII would end on a callback to the ending of Episode IV. From the snippets of footage and official information released about the new trio of main characters, you can make a sort of educated guess at the general gist of the storyline and how there could be potential parallels to the first Star Wars film. Finn is a stormtrooper who defects to the Rebel Alliance and is essentially a fish out of water. Along the way, he meets Rey, a scavenger and who is also somewhat of an outsider, and Poe, who is a hotshot Rebel X-Wing pilot. With the First Order being established as being a modern-day Galactic Empire with an even deadlier Death Star, a former stormtrooper with insider knowledge, a scrappy scavenger who can survive on her wits, and a badass X-Wing pilot band together and managed to bring down this new galactic big bad. As a reward for this bravery, Princess/Queen Leia would then shower Finn, Rey, and Poe with medals and accolades set to John Williams' epic musical score and the film will end on a happy note. It seems fitting and almost nostalgic in a way if this were the ending as not only as it establishes all the newcomers into the Star Wars universe, it also sort of signifies a passing of the torch from the veteran cast as well.
My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
