6. Kylo Ren's Mask

One of the most compelling elements of The Force Awakens shown off so far is the mysterious hooded Sith character seen walking through the woods and brandishing his controversial cross-guard lightsaber. The character is known to be named Kylo Ren, and will be seen in the trailer approaching a downed character from a point-of-view shot and showing off his silver mask, which is said to be very similar in design to many of the leaked concept art images that have done the rounds over the last year or so. Latino Review noted a sure influence from Darth Revan, the player character from the classic video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and that this glimpse of Kylo ends with him igniting his already-iconic saber. Without any previously established villain to speak of (presumably, anyway), this is absolutely one of the most important aspects of Episode VII to get right: he needs to be a fierce bada** to keep up with Darth Vader.
